1. This is more of the Via dell 'Amore. Except for short spans of suspended walkway this entire stretch is just carved out of the rock. This section is further south of the previous picture.
2. A balcony in Riomaggiore. I don't know, I guess the colors just grabbed me.
3. The sunny side of Riomaggiore. You can see the boat ramp in the center foreground and some of the boats stored at the top. The streets that go up to the houses on the hillside are really just stone stariways.
4. Reomaggiore from the ferry as we sailed north. That concrete slash up the mountainside is where the bus was parked when I took the picture from above.
5. This is Corniglia the only one of the five cities that does not come down to the ocean. It just hugs the upper ridge in the valley like a hanging glacier. All that green on the right is terraced trees. Mostly olive and lemon but some may be almonds or oranges.
