1. The apse niche and the mural.
2. This is unusual, I believe Moorish style, roof over the crossing of the Basilica of Candelaria.
3. The Plaza Eapana in Santa Cruz. The tall monument is in the center of the plaza. The city hall is to the left followed by the Post Office. The PO is not really blue. It's covered in a blue net because they are starting to restore the exterior. This is a very pleasant space.
4. This is the fishing village of San Andres that we visited on our tour the first day before heading up into the mountains behind it to cross to the other side of the island.
5. This is the unknown Candelaria pastry. Could have been mango or papaya, both are common here. This one had a little cinnamon in it. Very tasty!
